After Tutorial 2, you should be able to create a very decent site. with most features of a general site. This tutorial consists of 2 pages. Adding internal links: Internal Links, as mentioned before, are links that take you to a page within your site. Undoubtedly, after creating your first site, with only one page (or maybe not), you'll want to expand by adding multiple pages. (Like this site). The process is very similar to creating an external link. 1) Open the other page that you want this page to link to, and get back to this page by using the Forward/Back button (or Tools, Forward/Back) This HAS to be done so FrontPage will know the pages available for linking. 2) Enter text (on this page) to be used as internal link. ie " BioPage" 3) Highlight text. 4) Click the HyperLink Button on tool bar (or Insert than HyperLink on menu ) 5) Selected the Open Pages Option on top. Click the name of other page that's being linked, and press OK. You're done! ie: BioPage. Adding mailto function: Another common hyperlink type is the mailto function. It'll allow others, upon clicking, to email you. ie: email me! Please follow these steps: 1) Follow the exact instructions for Step 1: (Adding internal links) up to point "4)" . 2) Select World Wide Web on top, and for HyperLink Type, select mailto. 3) For URL, complete the address by entering email address after mailto:. ie: mailto:george@playful.com You're done! The highlighted text will turn blue. Adding "bookmark"
links: A bookmark link is a special kind of
internal link. It allows you to a) Jump to a specific place within the
same page. b) Jump to a specific place anywhere within your site. This is a type "a" link (takes you to top
of page). This is a type "b"
link. (takes you to the beginning of the Tutorial Section of my home page. The way of
adding type "a" and "b" links are
very similar. Here's how to add them:(Follow the below instructions for both of them) 1)
Goto the place you want to "bookmark", ie, top of the page/center of
another page., and place your cursor there. 2) Go to Edit, than
Bookmark. 3) type a name for the bookmark, and press ok A

). .4) Go back to original page or location that
will contain the text that leads to the bookmarked location. Type text
that'll lead to the place , ie: "this" 5) Highlight text. 6)
Click the HyperLink Button on tool bar (or Insert than HyperLink
on menu ) Already selected is the Open Pages Option on top. Click
the name of other page (or same page if you'll doing type "a" link),
that's being linked, go down to Bookmark, and select the name of the
bookmark. You're done.
